About Lisa Ketty, the Artist Behind HiPosterShop

Hi, I'm Lisa Ketty Jørgensen! I was born near Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1983, and I currently live in a cozy flat in Holte with my family. I find so much inspiration in the simple, everyday moments that surround me.

My journey in the visual arts began with a BA in Digital Arts from The Animation Workshop. Since then, I've had the incredible opportunity to contribute to blockbuster franchises like Star Wars and Star Trek as a freelance 2D digital matte painter in the VFX industry, bringing fantastical worlds to life on the big screen.

While I continue to enjoy freelance work in VFX, my passion for personal artistic expression has grown stronger over the years. This evolution in my creative focus has naturally led me to dedicate more time to developing my own artistic style and creating pieces for HiPosterShop.

I'm constantly inspired by the textures, shapes, colors, and forms of everyday life, particularly those reminiscent of the 1970s with their deep, warm color palettes. If you look closely at my poster art, you'll see that I use small dots and a layer of "noise" texturing to blend the artwork together and create that warm, inviting feeling.

The result is a collection of minimalist art prints that reflect the nostalgic beauty of everyday life. At HiPosterShop, I offer a range of designs inspired by the Bauhaus style and the colour pallette of the 1970´s. I'm constantly exploring new mediums and techniques and dreaming of delving deeper into handmade art forms like paintings, sculptures, and photographs, while also continuing to create captivating graphic pieces.
